We are looking for a developer to help us build systems and work on content for our first title "The Beautiful Game"

Unity Developer - Remote - £200-250 per day

Factori Studio is a small, primarily remote, studio based in London. We are a multi-discipline team drawing from a diverse range of experiences and influences; we want to create products with broad appeal that tell interesting stories set in wonderful, exciting worlds.

We are looking for a talented c# Unity Programmer to join us on a temporary contract.

You don’t need a degree but professional work experience is preferential. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their career in the games industry and who has previously worked on games small or big. We want someone ready to step into our team who could become a key member in future.

What you'll be doing

  • Working with Danny our CTO and sole programmer (currently) to realise the team's creative vision.

  • Working remotely and managing your own time.

  • You will be expected to work well alone without too much input but Danny will provide support and advice when needed. Your work will be prescribed and we work in an agile/sprint style.

  • You will also be welcome to give your opinion on the design of the project as well as the larger goals of running a successful studio with great products. A passion for game design is welcome!

  • You will help to build and maintain a code base that is not only solid for this project but a building foundation for many more projects to come.

  • Some (not necessarily professional) experience working on a game project

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Drive to learn and improve

  • Unity/C# experience

  • Secondary skill sets (game design, UX design, art, audio etc.)

  • An understanding of platform development requirements on mobile

What we are offering

We are offering a contract role for 2-4 days per week depending on the candidate. This will be at the tune of £250 per day (the same flat rate as everyone at Factori Studio for now).

Diversity Statement

Factori Studio is endeavoring to create a positive impact on our employees' lives and the society around us. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity. We are well aware we can’t expect our projects to have mass appeal if we do not have diverse teams. We want to make the best games and we actively hire for cultural growth. We welcome people of all ages, stories and backgrounds.
